She weas really offended
by the things he said.

They really hurt her,
and she didn’t know if
she could forgive him.

"Don't worry," he replied.

"I don’t want you to forgive me."

Those words which hurt
so much
only struck hard
with the force of truth

All he wanted her to say was not
"I forgive you."
